The Start Of Dock Construction On Dunes West Wando River Lot End Of Second Day Of Construction
Dock construction on this Wando River Deepwater lot started on July 29, 2009 by "Carolina Custom Docks." After the second day of construction the dock had been expanded to about 70% of the total length at completion. These photos were taken at close to low tide.
The owners of this spectacular Wando River lot are building a 510 foot by 4 foot dock/walkway with handrails leading to a 20 foot by 20 foot covered pierhead with benches and a fish cleaning station. A 3 foot by 20 foot gangway will be attached to the downstream side of the pierhead and will lead to a 10 foot by 20 foot floating dock. On the upstream side of the pierhead, a four-pile 12 foot by 12 foot boatlift will be installed. Construction of a 4000+ square foot vacation home to start after completion of dock. Book mark this page and return in the future for more photos of dock and home construction.
